The Killer Accessory for Tech-Savvy Germaphobes

I've always been a stickler for personal hygiene, but keeping things sterile 24/7 is somewhat of a buzzkill for people with dry skin, especially when several of those items are in constant use.

If you're tired of having hands that look like the catcher's mitt used in The Sandlot (which I highly recommend watching with your kids if you haven't already), then get ready for life after Rona. While phone sterilizers aren't exactly new to the market, the idea of killing 99.99% of all bacteria and germs on a mobile device without destroying your cuticles is becoming one of 2020's hottest trends.

As seen on Shark Tank, PhoneSoap is a UV-C sanitizer and charging station that comes in several models: PhoneSoap 3, PhoneSoap Pro UV Smartphone Sanitizer & Universal Charger, and PhoneSoap Go Battery-Powered Smartphone Sanitizer & Portable Charger. The devices normally list for $80 and up on Amazon, but this week—not sure how long it will last—there is a coupon, so be sure to click the link below the prices shown to save an extra 20%.

Each portable unit, offered in a wide array of colors, is large enough to hold all smartphone devices, including the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It also comes equipped with USB and USB-C ports for universal charging and can also be used to clean smartwatches, headphones, keys, or any other item small enough to fit inside. While the PhoneSoap 3 may be the least expensive, it works just as good as the others, minus a few bells and whistles.
The PhoneSoap Go Smartphone Sanitizer and Portable Charger costs about twenty bucks more than the PhoneSoap 3 but comes with an internal rechargeable battery that can charge your phone up to 4 times or run 45 sanitizing cycles. Note: This is the only model that comes with a traveling case for safe-keeping, which is a nice bonus for those on the move.
The PhoneSoap Pro UV Smartphone Sanitizer & Universal Charger is the newest model ($119.95 prior to applying coupon) and is guaranteed to fit the largest phone cases and accessories, such as OtterBox and LifeProof, etc.). This system also offers an automatic and manual mode, giving you the option to disinfect your phone instantly or whenever you're ready. The best part: the PhoneSoap Pro kills germs in just 5 minutes—half as long as the previous models.
That's all I've got for now unless you prefer a more ModSquad approach to sterilization (with half the coverage) that I found on sale at Urban Outfitters.

Torn between two—technically four—lovers? Feeling like a fool? Ahh, ignore the Mary MacGregor reference, I'm dating myself. If you find it's too difficult to choose between form and function, Google the stats on COVID.
